Founded in 2013 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, hasbean began as a small, local business with a mission to create high-quality, handcrafted furniture. The company was initially established to provide a platform for interns from a local NGO to gain valuable experience in a business environment. Through this initiative, students and young professionals were given the opportunity to engage in various aspects of business operations, from design and craftsmanship to marketing and sales, fostering a blend of skill development and social responsibility.
Our design philosophy merges the best of both worlds: Western craftsmanship techniques and local Cambodian aesthetics. Each piece of furniture is meticulously handcrafted, reflecting a harmonious balance between contemporary Western concepts and traditional local design elements.
